Sensory photography

Chris Holmes

Chris Holmes became blind almost overnight at 14, due to a genetic eye disorder. A photographer since childhood,It’s always marvellous to think about what you can do with a camera, how you can capture the essence of a moment”, Holmes says.
it’s clear that for Holmes, photography’s ability to freeze time is what's most important.Without sight, Holmes uses his awareness of light, emotion and experience to take a shot. if you didn't know he was blind then you wouldn't guess so by the quality of the image as the images are not out of focused or blurred they are well exposed images that even a full sighted photographer might not be able to achieve.
